HIBACHI FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS - #HCWSHOUTOUT
It’s been just over two weeks since Governor DeWine closed bars and restaurants for dine-in. Despite a drop in business, we’ve been able to keep all of our team members employed without cutting back hours. We are so grateful for the support of our hibachi fans that made this possible.
We’re going to pay that support forward with a shout out to healthcare workers. These courageous professionals, such as Jolene and her colleagues pictured above, are on the frontlines taking care of those that have gotten sick from COVID-19.
For our #hcwshoutout, we will be sending some Happy Hibachi to healthcare workers throughout our communities. Here’s how:
1) For healthcare workers ordering online, please use promo code #HCWTHANKS to receive a 10% discount on your order.
2) Show your medical ID at any GENJIGO and you’ll receive a 10% discount on your order.
3) Nicole, our Catering Manager, will be surprising Emergency Departments with complimentary hibachi bowls. If you would like some hibachi bowls for your ED, please email Nicole at catering@genjigo.com.
Healthcare workers will have our backs, let’s make sure they know we have theirs.
Happy Hibachi!

STAYING AT HOME? MIGHT AS WELL HAVE HIBACHI!
This afternoon, Dr. Amy Acton, the Director of the Ohio Department of Health, issued an order for all Ohioans to stay at home. Classified as an essential business, GENJIGO will remain open serving guests with carryout and delivery orders. We will strictly follow social distancing protocols and respectfully ask that our guests do the same.
No contact carryout orders are the perfect way to enjoy our fresh hibachi bowls while minimizing your interaction with others. Click on the link above and order your meal. Your order will be waiting for you on the NO CONTACT PICK-UP table at the front of the restaurant. Please note, we charge no fees when you place online/mobile carryout orders.
We thank you for your continued support.
Happy Hibachi!

MARCH 16, 2020
The health and safety of our guests and team members is our priority and we are closely monitoring news and announcements from our government leaders regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
On March 15, 2020, Governor DeWine ordered bars and restaurants closed for dine-in business until further notice. Establishments may continue serving carryout and delivery guests. GENJIGO will continue to be open for carryout and delivery orders.
We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure our restaurants are a safe environment, including following all standards outlined by the Ohio Department of Health and in ServSafe®.
During this public health crisis in Ohio and the U.S., we are doubling down on our usual cleanliness standards by doing the following:
• Implementing additional procedures, which follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the state health department.
• Remain in constant communication with our employees to reinforce sanitation and safety procedures in both public and back-of-house areas.
• Sanitizing high-traffic public areas and touch points at an increased frequency, including surfaces.
• Team members are increasing frequency of hand washing.
• Proper procedures are posted in all back-of-house work areas.
• Team members are prohibited from reporting to work with a respiratory illness, fever, or other illness that can be transmitted to others.
Thank you for supporting GENJIGO. Again, we remain open for carryout and delivery orders and look forward to continuing to serve you and our community.
